Good job here. I genuinely enjoyed what you had to say. Keep going because you absolutely bring a new voice to this topic. Not many people would say what youve said and still make it interesting. Properly, at least Im interested. Cant wait to see much more of this from you.

Kelley exemplifies here a decision to act on her beliefs and make changes in her life - a wonderful and empowering position for women to embrace. Unfortunately too often too many of us hesitate asking for what we want or acting on our own needs. Culturally we have been conditioned to agree and " get along" and hope that someone understands our FEELINGS. Our attunement to feelings is the best of what we bring to those we love but we really have to act on our own behalf, step into the future and grab our dreams. Good Luck on all your journeys!
I LOVE my kitties!

I remember when I first started dating my current boyfriend he was more of a dog person than a cat person.

However, once we moved in together he started feeding them, paying attention to them more and has grown to love them as if they were his own.

I love it because it shows me that he would provide the same care and attention to me and possibly our future children :)

Today for International Women's Day my heart is in Africa. This past October I had the pleasure of travelling to Ethiopia and Uganda with Rotary to participate in the Polio National Immunization Day. I met some wonderful women who were so thankful to have the opportunity to help their children. Something so inexpensive and easy to administer was so greatly treasured. I was honoured to be able to support these women and their children. Today I'm thinking of them and reflecting on how blessed my life is in here in Canada.
